To me as a Muslim, it doesn't matter to me if she wears hijab or not a Muslim. All i care is, how we understand each other.

Am i marrying her family? of-course not, so couldn't care less about the type of family she come from.

That would only affect someone who wanna live with the family. Personally, i wouldn't live with the parents of the girl am marrying from or with my parents. We would just have our own life.

no but wouldn't you be scared of her family influencing her decisions about you?
e.g. not seeing you as much, keeping distant etc

Of-course that would scare me but only for the first time i'm asking the hand of the girl (Marriage). After that, it's our life. They don't get to vote but i would respect them and visit them from time to time IF they're happy and want to have us.
