UTI infection for the third time!

I have lower back pain on my left side which comes and goes. This has been going on from past 4 weeks. And today I have been given another course of antibiotics. Don’t think it will ever clear up

That's really bad luck, UTIs are horrible. It might be worth booking some time in with your GP to discuss what might be triggering your UTIs, and perhaps a referral to a specialist might be a good idea depending on how often you get them (if the GP thinks this would be suitable). Sometimes they are chronic conditions that require special management or investigation. In my experience, I got them after having sex or when very run down and stressed. Taking simple steps like only letting super clean hands down there, and peeing before and straight after sex have reduced the frequency that I get them. For some people, wearing more breathable underwear helps.

Oh, and also make sure you drink plenty of water! Minimum of 2L per day, to help flush it out.

Sorry to hear this, UTIs are horrible
hopefully the next antibiotics help! If not it could be worth asking for further help/investigation from your GP to figure out why it isn't going awayI definitely would say wee before and after sex, that helped me x
