is attendance something that unis ficus on when applying? Mine is bad due to sick days and im worried this will stop me from getting in anywhere

Depends; your college may or may not include your attendance within your reference, you need to ask your tutor. If there's a valid reason then this can also be included within your reference. I wouldn't be too worried about attendance, as long as your results are good there shouldn't be any problems.
