Confusion

Hi i was just hoping someone will be able to help me. Basically i filled out my student finance thinking i would be able to get a place at university for nursing through clearing however that was not the case so when applying i wrote that i had an offer at bcu for nursing when in fact this doesnt exist. Now i am clueless about what to do. I have an interview coming up in the next few days and hoping that leads to an offer on to the nursing course in Jan 2014 intake. But at the moment i am not too sure what to do about student finance. Will they pay me even though i do not have a real place at university?

Hi there,

If you are going to start another course within the same Academic Year, you can update your course details on the same application via an online change of circumstances. This would adjust your finance to be applied to the new course.

If you are not going to study within this Academic Year, you can call us on 0845 300 5090 to cancel your application.

No finance will be paid until your attendance is confirmed on a course.
