Dissertation Help!

Hi, I am a third year film and video student and I'm really struggling to come up with a question for my dissertation. I've done alot of research into existentialism, the human condition and the absurd, and I want to come up with a good argument about how they have influenced the works of directors like Stanley Kubrick but I am really struggling. My supervisor is not supportive what so ever as he cancels all my tutorials and I can't seem to get help elsewhere. I'm desperate :frown:
