You're not supposed to mix drinks?

So I hear all the time that mixing drinks is bad, does that mean different alcoholic drinks as in vodka and gin for example, or does it mean mixing the same spirit with lemonade and then the same spirit with coke for example?

or both lol.?

Yeah, it basically means don't start your night on beer, then move to vodka, then cider, then sambuca. I don't know whether it's been proven if it makes the next day feel a lot worse or if it's just a myth though tbh.

It's the theory that drinking grape based alcohol (wine, brandy, etc.) and grain based alcohol (whiskey, beer, etc.) on the same occasion is more likely to give you a hangover.
