Missed an interview!

So, I applied for university and all is going well, sort of.. I have my heart set on what university I want to go, as it's the closest to my home. I already re scheduled an interview date with this particular university as I was away for the original date. However the second date I resechuded it to I accidently missed. I worked until 3am the night before and couldn't wake up for 7am to get there for 9am. I was gutted when I realised I over slept. I set so many alarms and nothing woke me up.

My basic question is, would I be able to re apply to the same university next year? Or will they know I didn't attend an interview from a previous year and decline my offer?
