Help with VISA application

Hi, so I'm meant to be going to Taiwan in about two weeks, and need to get my visa. I've been having money problems and retake issues so I've had to leave it to last minute. Now I'm really confused as I have ALL the documents however, you need to provide proof of financial support. Now can I use my student finance as proof of this? As I get the maximum loan, I don't usually have any money by the end until SFE pays me.

So the question is will the Taiwan embassy accept my SFE maintenance loan/grant as sufficient financial support? Or do I need to bring a bank statement which is pointless as I have no money lol.

You need to contact the embassy. Normally the rules say they need evidence of proof of funds in the account for x days. Only they can tell you otherwise.

You can submit your application in person and no appointment is needed. They want 3 months bank account statements. You should explain you are a student.

You may qualify for visa exemption if your trip is less than 90 days and you meet the criteria, which I believe would get you past the proof of funds criteria.

Its up to you to check with them it applies.
