GYG 2017-18 Reach for the A*s...or 9s or...whatever

Can't believe I've just found this thread now! Totally following you! I'm in year 11 btw got me mocks around the corner, predicted 9s/8s, nowhere near getting them? How do u revise / stay motivated? Lol I need advise! Btw congrats on ur achievements and ur totally getting into medicine! Are u in year 11 too?

Cool! In Drama we're going through a play called 'hard to swallow'. Its about a girl with anorexia etc its a really good play.

aww thank you!! my revision is a mess honestly I just write out notes and use the CGP revision guides. maybe look at some past papers? I just write, type, condense and memorise

ahh! we did that play last year, how are you finding it?

Ahh ok! but in our experiment, we dropped a coin and a feather from the same height, but obviously the coin fell faster so doesn’t that mean as mass increases the acceleration should as well?

The coin and feather experiment is done in vacuum right? That's what we learnt in GCE. They would fall at the same rate because no air resistance. The mass increases and acceleration increases only works when you drop both at the same force. If it's done without vacuum, isn't your hypothesis correct? The coin has more mass so it fell faster. It can only fall faster than the feather if it had more acceleration than the feather.
