:yikes: that's a lot!
To my knowledge, we don't have any 'mock' mocks apart from English which we had Paper 1 Language last week

Do you have normal lesson in-between these?

fortunately we don't! we just have private study

no problem x I believe in you, soon you’ll get the grades you want

revision?? new phone, who dis?

um so i've been MIA but don't worry guys, i'm still here!
so i've planned my halfterm revision to what my exams are gonna be covering
i've done it so it'll be two subjects a day in three hour slots (9-12 and 2-5)
obviously, as a procrastinator there is no way that i'll be 'revising' for three hours straight, so i've given myself a long amount of time to get the work done! after this, i'll do a post about each subject so i can keep updating it with other resources/links that i find are useful

monday

physics (sigh, get the worst one outta the way)
particle model, moments and pressure, forces, space (but no big bang/red shift because we haven't learnt that yet), energy (no non/renewable sources)

latin
mostly translation, with a few comprehension questions and ten grammar questions that i absolutely hate

tuesday

maths
everything from year 7 onwards...welp

history
conflict and tension 1918-1939

wednesday

german
writing, listening, speaking and reading - either on school, free time or relationships

biology
ecology, cells and organisation

thursday

drama
sections a & b (blood brothers)

eng lit
an inspector calls & poetry (love and relationships poems)

friday

eng lang
fiction paper one

chemistry
they were so helpful and gave us a massive topic list:
atomic structure & bonding, periodic table, bonding, properties of matter, quantative chem, chem changes, organic chem, atmosphere, materials
hopefully a super productive week then! :crossedf:

ah this mug is so cuteeee
my mum got it for me because we got a £100 gift voucher for the disney store...
this was because we went to wagamamas a couple weeks back and it was super super busy bc it was a saturday night. my sister, being the hyperactive three year old was running around, bumped into the waiter who was stupidly carrying a million classes in one hand, he dropped them, they smashed, she screamed and she ended up with just a cut above her eyebrow thank God it wasn't her eye. but they send some compensation so it was ok i guess......

Everyone is so organised!
Looks like a great plan :yep:
Would recommend googling the pomodoro technique if you don't know what it is already to help with procrastination

'art' is a gcse

well through out the halfterm, whenever i get a chance, i'll be doing some art work because you can't really 'revise' for art. i have to come up with four 'ideas' for my final piece, linking to the stupid 'fold wrap and tear' theme and my subtheme of 'emotion'
oh i also forgot to mention that it can't be anything 'random' eg. it has to be based on something you've previously done

idea one:
so I did this crying face watercolour thing on my moodboard, and it has the fold wrap tear thing with the paper in the background? I’m just gonna edit it so that the tears are rainbow coloured so it looks like I’ve ‘developed it’

idea two:
I’ve done a basic sketch of my sisters face (from my photography section) and am gonna paint it in the style of jimmy law who does cool work with acrylics

idea three:
I’m gonna cut up that picture of my sister and stick it like the picture of the guy on my moodboard. I still need to find an artist to relate it to😩

idea four (and probably my final piece)
imma take that picture of my sister and edit it to make it distorted and then paint it, however the artist henrietta harris never drew hands in her work, and that was a good move because hands are sooooo difficult to draw. so i might have to take a couple more pictures in my 'experimentation' bit to ensure her hands are down and in a nicer outfit that i can paint her in.
i also might add some more textured background and use like ribbon or string for the floaty lines, so it fits with the 'fold wrap tear'
(edited 6 years ago)
ok im supposed to be revising physics welppp
you’re amazing at art whatttt
