A levels in year 11

So I did my Spanish and Portuguese gcse's in year 10 and got an A* and an A.
Teacher's told me this would help with college application's even though my first language is Portuguese and now I've found out that I might do the Spanish and Portuguese A levels in year 11 if I want.
Is it a good idea?
Is it actually going to help me with the college application's to already have two A levels?
College as in sixth form? Most of them won't really be bothered in my experience.
If you mean university, they usually don't accept A levels in your first language, and they want your A levels all taken in the same year, so it would make little difference unless you were applying to unis that count points rather than grades (and even then they can specify that the points are over 3 A levels taken in the same year...)
It's never going to do any harm, but whether it's worth the effort is up to you to decide.
