alternative degrees to biomedical science

i wanted to do biomedical science at uni and that is what i have been set on but after doing in depth research about the degree i have been more or less thrown off it, i would enjoy the degree but the job prospects aren't that good is what has thrown me off of it, i would apply for medicine but the only downfall with that is i wouldn't actually be a doctor for about 10 years so that's a no go, i want to work in a hospital with patient contact/care, i'm not quite sure what area i want to work in yet but i know obviously something to do with the human body that isn't audiology/optometry, please could anyone suggest alternative degrees, thank you!

have you heard of physician associates? It sounds like what you're looking for
Biochemistry, medicinal biochemistry and pharmacology are also suitable alternatives to biomedical sciences, cell biology, anatomy, physiology, neuroscience, etc.
Sorry, I missed that bit! Your list is a better one then.

you're welcome - from my understanding it's a new profession in the UK but has been in the US for a while
basically I think a PA's role is to help alleviate some of the duties of a doctor by dealing with simpler things like colds and very minor procedures etc

A nursing degree seems the obvious choice but you've got lots of other good suggestions to research. The prospects website is a good one for telling you all about different careers including training and salaries

Hi guys, I don't know if yall could help me or not.

But I want to apply for both biomedical science and radiography. Although I've heard neither might except if my personal statement is not concise and passionate for either one. I want to apply for biomed so I could join the STP programme or become a PA
