Natural girls

Why do boys rant about how they want a natural, beautiful girl but in the end they always choose the girl who cakes herself with makeup. They then complain how she’s so ugly under all that makeup. Why??

I've found rather than complaining about ugliness that men tend to whine at me for wearing it when I don't "need it" and seem to think it's their job to reassure me I'm beautiful without it anytime they see me wearing it (any day I leave the house so they sound like a broken record very quickly). One ex used to say "ugh make-up" if I wore it. It was bloody annoying.
