Humiliated cuz ex bf shared my nudes to his friends and social media

I was with my bf for 2 months in which we had sex once he took my virginity but we split when I found out he was also sleeping with my friend. Thing is I was stupid and sent him nudes on whatsapp with my face and when we broke up he shared them to his friends and posted them on Facebook with thr caption that said I was a slut, since then also I've had horrid messages like random guys asking to suck them off and worse I already feel embarrassed and humiliated. My family rather than helping me grounded me and said it was my own fault what do i do now?

Report it to the police. This is revenge porn and it is a crime. I'm so sorry he did this to you - what a horrible person.
i mean you chosed to send him nudes.... but how old are you first of all? PM me, i've went through a similar situation.

Please don't victim blame, this is NOT her fault.

i mean it was your fault. but nonetheless report him and let the law enforcers deal with him as well as the mystery perverts
It is NOT your fault that your ex posted these on social media, at all. Please don't listen to that. Although at the age of 14, I would suggest not doing it again, boys at that age are so immature, and then we get scenarios like this. :frown:

If you do decide to send pictures like this again, though, try and make sure your face isn't in them, there's nothing in the background that's recognisable as yours, etc, etc.

Can you go to the police? If not, and it's really affecting you, maybe try talking to a counsellor
What he did was illegal on two counts: revenge porn AND distribution of child porn (as you’re only 14). Report his criminal arse to the police and watch how the smile is wiped off his face

Don’t victim blame.

Why not? Victim or not, it was her fault.
Nude photos of a 14yo on Facebook? Highly unlikely, wouldn't you think???

That’s a horrible attitude to have. She’s 14. Don’t be so horrible.

i'm sorry. it's just that when i did that people blamed me :frown: especially my parents

Age is irrelevant. She knowingly sent compromising pics of herself and now she's facing the consequences.

but surely you felt horrible when they blamed you? so why victim blame her?

im sorry it happened to you but it’s wrong of you to shame this girl. she’s 14 and just needs advice and support

she made a mistake - yes. but is shaming her really helping? she’s a young, impressionable girl. teenagers make mistakes, I’m sure you did too. yes she sent the pictures and clearly regrets it. there’s no need to blame her and shame her.

But the thing is it's revenge porn, that's illegal regardless of who sent it and why.

I'm sorry that you're dealing with this, especially at only 14, and that your parents aren't supporting you as they should.

You go to the Police. Not only has he broken the law, but what he's done is plain nasty, so he needs to face the consequences. Good luck.

How old is he?
