Student Finance Postgraduate loan extension

What are the conditions around getting student finance to provide funding for an additional module on top of already paid for a masters course?

My niece completed a masters year in psychology, but had to retake the year due to health issues and covid. She has been told that she can retake the year with attendance in only one module, which costs £1600. Can student finance support this on top of what they have provided for the previous year? For additional information, she has autism, add, and diagnosed mental health conditions.

Hi, the maximum funding available is £11,222 in the 20/21 academic year(£10,609 in 19/20) as you can see here http://ow.ly/Ny1s30oSf1Y - it's not possible to receive more than this.

If she has to repeat a module and apply for another application then it is possible to apply for another masters loan
(and receive more funding) but only if she has Compelling Personal Reasons and can provide evidence listed here http://ow.ly/MsMM30pjjOm
Thanks, Isaac
