Student finance England repaying, dropping out

If I drop out of uni when do I have to start repaying my debt? Are the rules the same as when you graduate?

Hi, you are expected to pay back any overpayment straight away. Please read this leaflet for more information http://ow.ly/d/8nhs
Thanks, Isaac

What does over payment mean specifically?
I’m receiving maintenance loan and tutoring Loan I’ve retook my first year 2 times and I’ve done a foundation year that is a total of 3 years, if I drop out of uni when will I have to repay? Is it the same procedure as when you graduate and repay?

Hi, please read the leaflet for information on what an overpayment is. If you drop out of university, the funding will be pro rated up until the day you left the course. It is not the same as normal repayments. Please read the leaflet as it explains in detail. Any overpayment must be paid back immediately/asap.
Thanks, Isaac
