SFE Money after cancellation

To put it short my student finance was processed late but luckily I'm deferring for a year due to the pandemic.Before my cancellation, I received money as one does from student finance.How do I return this money?

Hi, you can make a voluntary payment online at gov.uk/slc but it's not what I advise. I advise you to ask the university to contact us to confirm you have withdrawn/suspended and then if we have overpaid you, we will send you a letter to confirm. Any overpayment will be recovered from your future funding (unless you voluntarily pay it back now)
