How easy is it to change courses at uni

Im not saying i definitely will change my course, but say i do a year or a term of a uni course and HATE it how easy would it be to change

Difficult as you will have missed an entire term of the other course, and most Unis would not permit it.

If you want to switch courses, do it now - phone the Uni and ask to be considered for the course you actually want to do.

It's not easy. I studied chemistry with biochem as a subsidy subject. I could swap to biochem at the end of my first year because I had done the relevant core modules. It became impossible to swap from chemistry to biochem after the first year because of the number of specialised modules both courses require you to take in years 2 and 3.

It will be really hard for you to swap disciplines. Thus I could not swap to law or engineering without having to redo the first year (and assuming I had the grades to get into the other subject).

Varies between being a matter of asking and impossible. Restarting from first year is a much more feasible option than trying to change into the second year of another course, unless they are closely related.
