Is 5’6” short for a girl?

I know 5’4” is average where I live (USA), but I’m white and in my 20s. I know that white people tend to be taller than other ethnicities and younger generations tend to be taller than older generations. So I want to know if I’m short based on my age and ethnicity. I hope I’m not short. I really want to be kind of tall but not outrageously tall. I wish I was more like 5’7” or 5’8”.
