HI, i recieved a letter from sfe
Independence evidence needed for academic year 2023/24.

You told us that your parents are living outside of the EU and it’s not
possible for them to support your application. We need evidence of this for
us to assess you as an independent student in this academic year.

What you need to do
Send a letter signed and dated by an independent person with good standing
in the community. This person can’t be a friend or relative. The letter
needs to include:
• The independent person’s relationship to you
• Your situation
• The country your parents are currently living in
• Why your parents’ current situation prevents them from submitting
their financial details

so my friend's mum is a midwife and i asked her if she could write the letter for me and she agreed. howver now she doesnt know what to write for the 'relationship to me' bc we're not related in any way. (ive never given birth so shes not my midwife) and shes not my friend either just someone i know.
