Party plans, pres
So I'll quickly summarise
My friend is having a bday party today starting at 7pm. She said she'd do pres at 5pm today a couple days ago. It gets to today and she's not even mentioned anything to I asked her about 2pm. She said she had completely forgotten but hasn't confirmed whether pres are going ahead or not and as you can see it's 10 minutes to 5pm.
Because I as under the assumption they were still going on I've had to delay other social gatherings which has now left me in a bad situation with my other friends. Would this be an acceptable excuse nit to at the event at all? I feel like she has a lack of respect for other people's time
