Non-existent middle name in student finance account

I was a bit hesitant to ask about this but I cannot find another case like mine. My student finance account has my first and last names correctly, but for some reason my father's name is entered as my middle name. I however do not have a middle name. Until now I thought it was a naming convention and so far it hasn't caused any issues but I'm scared it will lead to confusion in the future.
