I’ve been chatting a lot to a guy and then he went like “I’m just a pen pal right?😂” is he hinting he wants to be something more? Because I said yes. And then he went cold. And doesn’t send good morning text and doesn’t text as much
Well if he did want something more (ie genuine friendship or perhaps wanting to get to know you) you have likely killed it stone dead on face value (even if it had a different meaning). He is as vulnerable as you are. If you were him, and the roles reversed, what would you be thinking? So his reaction is hardly surprising
I think he feels he now has to retreat. as there is no further merit in prolonging his tiny hope of getting to know you better? "I'm just a pen pal right?' can also be bluff in a man's world of not wanting to be seen as 'silly' or opening his armour to hurt.
