accommodation

Hi, I have made Exeter my firm choice. I'm looking at accommodation and was wondering what you would recommend for self catered accommodation with an ensuite room. At the moment East Park and Lafrowda are my top choices. I was also wondering whether each accommodation had a different personality, like if one is know to be more sociable and have more parties or if one is more quiet than the others

Hi Tilly! Glad to hear that you've firmed Exeter - good choice

I have just finished my first year in Lafrowda but had many friends in East Park so spent a lot of time between the two. I would say both are very good choices for self-catered with an en suite room. Lafrowda has a reputation for being a more sociable accommodation but this depends which block you're in - you can have the choice to pick a preference for designated quiet accommodation and be paired with like-minded people. I spent the year in a 'quiet' block of Lafrowda and got a good balance between socialisation and quiet time (and good nights' sleep)!
These are both popular choices, but it's worth having a look at other accommodations too - St. German's, Birks Grange Village, and Clydesdale Rise are just a few examples of en suite accommodation on Streatham Campus. It's worth having a look through the accommodation page to see what would fit you best.

Hope this helps!

i’ve been accepted for east park for my accommodation! i was looking at lafrowda as well and heard it was quite a party accommodation, east park seems to have the connotations of being chill/middle of the road. also when i looked around accommodation east park seemed the nicest (was built the most recent!)
