With this and your other AI post, you seem to be very preoccupied about the process and possibly being caught out by the system. As long as all of the work you submit is researched and written by you and fully referenced, you have nothing to worry about.
Anyway, to answer your question. All work is marked by a teacher initially. Then a percentage is double checked by another teacher. Then between January and May next year, Pearson will allocate a Standards verifier to carry out sampling. This could be 1,2 or 3 units and the verifier selects three learners at random for each unit. If they agree with the teachers grades for those, then nothing else is checked. If however they disagree and find the teacher has been too generous and perhaps awarded a learner a Distinction say, where it should only have been a Merit or Pass, or there is any suspicion about plagiarism, then every learner has to make the recommended changes and the work is rechecked for those plus more learners.
