How long do I have to volunteer?

I am in year 10, and I was going to volunteer for my local library, but it dosen’t say anywhere on the site how long I have to volunteer for. I don’t want to volunteer for months, because I have my GCSEs. If I do 2 hours a week, how long would I have to commit for? I definitely should have done this earlier… should I just miss this year and start next summer instead?

Why do you want to volunteer? DofE? If so, be open. "I need to volunteer one hour a week for three months. Is that ok?" I am sure they can accommodate you.
