this is Leeds first year moving to UCAT, anyone one got any predictions as to what UCAT will be needed? im thinking around 2500-2600

i am not too sure, i am reapplying but i dont think my ucat will be too high but i hope my gcses and personal statement make up for it

for gateway year a high BMAT wasn't required, I knew someone who got in with 3.1 3.2 3.0. however I feel that the UCAT will be the most important deciding factor so I would say is dont concentrate on PS but concentrate on UCAT

Thank you so much ! I have all 8s and 9s for gcses and I tick a lot of widening criterias so you think that will make up for a slightly low ucat ? And by any chance do you know what the statistics of people applying interviews and offers last year ?

tbh its good you have them GCSEs however looking at previous threads people with low GCSEs with 7s and 6s even got interviews. so like I said before, UCAT will be a very important deciding factor. lets say you have a really low UCAT I dont think your GCSEs will compensate however I could be wrong. but dont worry, just concentrate on UCAT really really hard and aim for the highest score possible. im aiming for 2800

Hi there I meet the Access to Leeds requirements- contextual barriers of first in family to higher education and family household income lower than £25,000. I have 3 9s, 5 8s and 2 7s at GCSE and A levels of BBC. What ucat would i need to get to guarantee an interview?

We don’t know mate cause this is Leeds first year, you’ve got good GCSEs, I’ve got 987777777 so hoping it’s enough, you meet the a level requirements so just aim as high as possible for UCAT. I’m aiming for 2800+ just to be safe
How do I tell Leeds about extenuating circumstances? I got A*BC and live in a deprived area but also have extenuating health circumstances- I am pretty sure I meet legibility for this course then right? How would Leeds go about knowing this though

Excellent GCSEs, but it’s your UCAT. You could put Leeds down but we don’t know how they’ll use UCAT cause it’s their first year. But if you really wanna apply I would say go for it, you have a chance
