I have applied in strathclyde for foundation in Business and social sciences and my progression degree is LLB. I received an offer by uni in which first there was foundation year and then a 3-year degree, in my updated offer uni changed the degree period from 3years to 4years. Why did that happen??

Agents can't do anything that you can't do yourself, (and in a lot of cases are a hindrance - just ask the people whose offers I withdraw because the agent didn't do something). I agree just contact the uni directly to ask.
