SC Clearancd - no update after 7 months

Hi,

I have appleid for a mod job and got selected. Its been 7 months and my status is still in progress.
Any idea why is this so. I have lived in two different countries and came uk last feb.

Hi, I am also waiting SC clearance, however I am upgrading from having CTC. Only part way through week 2 so may have a while to wait yet. However from my understanding the time scale varies greatly from person to person. It all depends on how long the have lived in the UK, time spent living abroad, criminal convictions, financial history etc. Have you called the UKVS to see if that can give you an update at all?
