Speech and Language Therapy MSc Interview

Hi!

I have recently had an interview with MMU for a Speech and Language Therapy Masters. Does anyone know how long it takes for MMU to come back to a decision? As they're my only choice as I absolutely adore the course that they're offering.

Does anyone also know how many students that MMU take on for the Speech and Language (Pre-Registration) course per year?

Hi!!
Hope your interview went well 🙂 It can take a couple of weeks to hear a decision from the admissions team. If you haven't heard anything by the end of this week, I'd recommend emailing [email protected] for an update.

SLT doesn't have a huge cohort - it changes year on year but it's usually no more than 50 students.

Yes it's the MSc course, I deferred from last year so I interviewed in March 2023.

Hi! Congrats on the offer! I am considering this course for Sep 2025; but I am unsure if I can balance the course with young children. Have you received a timetable yet? I am keen to learn more about the actual hours in terms of weekly attendance etc. any info you have would be much appreciated.

I'm leaning more towards the MSc due to the time frame, but if I don't get it and get the BSc instead, I'm happy to do so rather than waste a year pondering. I'm a former teacher and looking for a career change. I applied in 2023 for both courses, and received an interview but unfortunately didn't go ahead because... life ☹️

I applied again for 2025, but unfortunately missed the deadline by a few days as I was in hospital. UCAS sent my application pretty much straight after applying. I believe they are going through interviews now, as I called the university and this is what they told me but they're still taking applications so I still had the chance to apply.

Does anyone know if the interview is still online?
