Student finance for QTS top-up year

I need to know if I would be able to get student finance for a QTS top-up year. I already have a degree, taken 30 years ago. I have worked in education for 5 years now in a variety of settings and I'm now thinking of gaining my QTS. Do I have one year left of student finance? I never had a student loan for my first degree so not sure. My first degree in Physics was just a Pass grade so need a better degree before doing a PGCE. Would I also be able to get funding for a PGCE after QTS top-up year?
Hi there,

What is the name of the university and course and will this be studied at full time? Thanks, Jason

Hi there,

You would qualify for funding for the ITT course. If you are planning to start in September 2025 that would be the 25/26 Academic Year and the applications will be live next year. Thanks, Ross
