It hurts inside after

Hi, so um I’m kinda still living at home, and I have never been able a buy a proper dildo, so I’ve had to resort to using an electric toothbrush, not as a vibrater, but as an actual dildo, and I’ll be truthful, I like it a little rough sometimes, it’s not like I do it every day! I’ll do it about once every three days or so just to make sure I’m not sore, but that’s my problem, I’m always sore after, it doesn’t hurt when I do it, it’s just after, and it’s more inside, like where it hits inside, Im just wondering if this is normal?
