Crush ADVICE PLS

I can’t believe im on tsr asking for help but i rlllly like this guy almost a year now, i dont rlly know him we snap sometimes and I’ve spoken to him in person a couple times. I dont think he’s that into me i dont rlly think im his type but he’s known to be a rlly shy guy any advice/tips?

Try to get closer to him as a friend first (so that it'll be less awkward when trying to hint that you like him). After knowing him long enough, get the courage to ask him without embarrassment, and if he rejects you, I'd say tell him to stay friends!
