From the guy perspective I'm pretty thankful there are still women like that out there. There is far too much obsession with looks, fads and what have you. It's always the slightly weird and quirky, or strong personalities that I find most attractive :smile:

I think you have highlighted the difference between a girl and a woman. It sounds as if you are just a bit more mature in your tastes than are the "girls" around you.

I think your getting infatuation mixed up with over emotions . In my opinion you need to let go of this fantasy thing , guys might drool over Megan fox or chat about how fit Mila kunis is but we don't delude ourselves into ignoring other girls because these celebrities are 10s.

I'm kinda like this, the only celeb crush I had was David Tennant - but who could blame me?! My friends used to make comments about 'hot' guys and how they would like to go out with them from just looking at them however they never knew anything about them

That's beautiful! I sort of have a thing for complex English, and good vocabulary. You should be proud of this right here!

Also, on another note, I feel you, OP. Especially when it comes to intelligence. I love people whom I can hold intelligent conversations with and come out better educated but not belittled by the end of it. :smile:

Yeah I am the 'weird one' out of my group of friends in terms of who I am attracted to - I have a massive thing for guys with beards, don't find the vast majority of male celebs attractive etc and I really dislike particularly muscular bodies on guys.

However I find the posh accent is a massive turn-off after some of my experiences at uni. Northern accents, however :perv:

I also would fall for a guy pretty much regardless of looks (with a few exceptions, like if they were very muscly or very fat I find that to be a major turn-off so they would have to be perfect personality wise, which lets face it no-one is.

thats very deep (and slightly tragic!). I love the use of archaic language - there is something very entrancing about it - I'm particularly drawn to people who use non typical words/ speaking patterns (particularly if it's formal).

I like to write poetry too, though I have never been with a guy I feel would appreciate it .. so keep it to myself :wink:

Though what I tend to do is write stories... I always have one on the go; most of them are based on dreams I have (Tend to have very realistic dreams nightly).
