Funds for Italian students

Dear Sirs,
I'm Luisa, I'm from Italy and next year I wish to apply for a Master in Interpreting and translating in Italian/English at the University of Essex or for a Master in Business and economy in Contemporary China at the University og Nottingham. I'm still a bit uncertain about the course, however I need to find a loan to finance my studies before applying.

What I'd like to know is if I can be eligible for this loan even if I'm Italian, I have never been or lived in the UK and I want to go back to Italy at the and of the course.Could You please help me?

Thank You very much for Your kind attention,Yours faithfully
Luisa

So I cannot obtain loans for maintenace (living costs and so), is it right?

Yes, that's right. As an EU student, you would have to be living in England for 5 years prior to the start of the academic course for reasons other than education, to get the maintenance loan.

Ok thanks!
Hi there.

Can you confirm if your Masters is studied as post-graduate or is this an integrated, undergraduate Masters?

Thanks.

Thanks for Your question!

The Master I'm attending in Italy is actually a specialisation. In fact, in Italy degree consists of 3 year + 2. After three year you are graduated and you can opt for specialisations or masters.

The course I want to apply for in UK is a post-graduate master.

Hi,
The course I want to apply is a Master while in Italy I'm attending a postgraduate course.

I saw the "postgraduate loan programme", am I eligible for that?

Thanks
