Will a university take back their offer if my my predicted grade drops?

I received a conditional offer with requirements identical to my predicted grade, but my school might decide to lower my predicted grade now because I didn't do so well in my mocks. I'm really worried that the university might decide to take back their offer, is it likely for this to happen and should I email the university about this?

No. Once the Offer is issued that's it, it's a done deal.

But I have not confirmed my offers yet.
It doesn't matter. The universities cannot see changes to your predicted grade and they can't withdraw their offer. Its all on you now - good luck!

Doesn't matter.

And your school/college won't change predictions anyway.

You're fine

I really worried because my school told me that they will contact the universities if my predicted grade changes :frown:

They won't. And they can't change your application after it's been sent anyway.

They are just proding you to encourage you to do well. As I said, it's fine.

Thanks , hopefully they won't, but I'm feeling quite desperate because it's my first choice uni.

It's not a case of "hopefully". They simply *can't*.

This is an empty threat - I'm a teacher and no-one can change predictions now.

They are just pushing you to work harder but not in the way I would do ...

Good luck in getting the grades for the uni you want
