what to do if im alone at lunch? I feel so embarrased

as an adult i eat alone at like lunch hour cos that's MY time. i HATE when coworkers come in and start CHATTING. like ***** i seen you ALL DAY can u **** off pls. i just ignore em haha. i also eat for a quick bite alone between errands at chippies.

This, If I'm already sitting for most of the day with these people, i'm going to want my break as, well, a break. From them.

People vary I suppose, i;m an only child so used to enjoying my own company, and there's generally the knowledge i can go and talk to people if I really want to.

If not - join lunchtime CCAs/clubs! That way you're bound to meet people with similar interests

I go to a school where I'm new and I just sit with a group of people I don't even. If they start taking about something I find interesting, I join in. A lot of the time, I sit alone as well, I find it to be better because Im not forced to make conversation

Are you a person with Special needs or a disability? if you are, it will be impossible for you to make friends. Do you have friends outside of education? again if you don't have friends at all, then i doubt u will make friends. From experience i know, as i'm living a lonely life and it making me ultra manic.

If your a normal human being, don't be worried, things take time

do you struggle to get friends?

only third day tbh, but kinda only have secondary friends atm. life sucks every already has mates and i cba to go to random ppl and ask to 'b my friend'.

Unless you want company during lunch you should feel content with yourself, you have all of that spare time during lunch to do whatever you want by yourself. Sometimes a moment to yourself and doing some revision might help! Just a rec haha

Man haha,I remember when I was worried about friends in college,Then exams came....
It might seem important now but in a year it wont. Don't worry about it just keep on doing what you have to do

it sucks tbh, i just go to the library and finish work, nobody gonna judge u then
just go on ur phone, listen to music ect. download movies at home and watch them at school/tv series.
