Reasons to not switch classes!

I've recently started college and i've been comfortable and adjusted to my new timetable and teachers and suddenly they've decided to change my classes and teachers which was really abrupt and will effect my learning schedule. I've put in a lot of time and effort into the tasks, homework and assignment work for it all to be gone. im really upset. i want to write an appeal but i dont know any very valid reasons to NOT have my classes changed and to get my old time table back!
change class or subject?
because if it's just class then your homework and assignments still matter

well the big set back would be that you have new people to get to know, but it's only been 3 weeks so it shouldn't be a major set back - your assignments and homework wasn't wasted because it's about learning and understanding the knowledge. Is there a reason for the change in time table? Lesson disruptions / teacher is busy? Ask a friend in the class if you don't know.
If there's no reason then I'm sure you could ask the head of subject why you've been swapped and request you stay in the class.

Might as well ask, worst case scenario you're doing ice breakers with some new people. It really is that easy sometimes.

If you can't handle a BTEC less than a month in it's probably best you talk to your course managers, because BTEC's require a lot more conscientiousness throughout than A-Levels in terms of work:revision and you need to stay up to date to get higher than a pass. And about not liking socialisation, well unfortunately there's not much you can do if you don't ask head of subject.
