Pre-employment check wait time for Civil Service

I have got a job at the Civil Service, does anyone know how long the pre-employment checks take?

I have in the meantime of accepting the civil service job seen a 1/2 job adverts which appeal to me more (I know this is a bad thing to do and I shouldn't even be looking) but we have had the pandemic and I'm not letting good opportunities go past me 🤣. It's just to keep my options open really and I may not even get a interview or pass the interview for them jobs I am applying for.
