Perception of gay people who sleep around a lot?

Just wondering what the general perception was of gay people who have a lot of sexual partners? I know for straight men it's seen a positive thing and an accomplishment to sleep with a lot of women but for women it's seen as a negative thing if they've had a lot of different partners. What are peoples views on gay people who sleep around a lot?

Any thoughts welcome

It's not really a challenge for gay people to sleep around. Men are more sexually active in general, so it's fairly easy for them to find willing male partners, a fact which is supported both by statistics and anecdotal evidence. As such, gay guys are similar to women in that sleeping around is not an accomplishment. Gay guys also have the added risk that their methods tend to be much more disease prone, which augments the negative aspect.

It's about what you have to do to achieve the goal. Women have to be presentable and willing to get action, while men have to be socially adept and high value in looks, attitude, lifestyle such. Gay men have to be presentable and willing to get action. Becoming presentable is a widely derided activity (doing up your hair, shopping, makeup and such) despite the substantial effort it may take and so gains little praise.
