I used to buy it from Americansoda.com but then I found a store in Leicester that sells it but it is stupidly expensive..
Try drinking 18 cans in 1 night.. the sugar crash is worse than any hangover I have ever had ! Is it me or does root beer taste a lot like TCP? Or am I thinking of another drink (I think it had a pink can) ?
Yeah some of them are a bit hit or miss, but Stewarts and A&W in particular are amazing.
Haha! You from America? What's the best part of Arizona? Not familiar with that part atm.
Haha nope! I've just been a few times We went to Sedona in Arizona and it is beautiful there. All red rocks and just loveliness. Drove through Phoenix but it looked nice lol Plus the south part of the grand canyon is a good view and it's nearish Sedona Oh and you should drive through death valley! It's kinda scary cos there are virtually no cars but its one of those once in a lifetime things
However I need to learn some gambling games or I will be stuck on roulette and the slots at this rate :P
I once met a guy who began cycling from Canada down into the USA. When he was halfway down the USA he won a ****load of money in a casino playing poker (I think), so he carried on cycling all the way down to Argentina. That's something I'd absolutely love to do (cycling from the top of Canada down to the bottom of Argentina that is.)

I plan to at some point, once a) I have a bike (one that will be able to cope with all the different terrains) and b) I can afford it! I'd love to cycle across the USA from east to west coasts too, and around Ireland, and from Lisbon to the easternmost bit of Turkey. I'd start off with the Ireland trip, or maybe with a Land's End - John O'Groats trip to see how it goes (I've never actually done a properly long-distance bike ride before so would need to break myself in.)
The biggest risk of your life? You're going to the USA to work, you're hardly travelling to Afghanistan to assist the army in removing unexploded roadside bombs, or travelling to Darfur or Hebron or something. Christ, sense of perspective much? What's the worst that can happen?

Come on be nice to the poor fella, I guess its a big thing for him
On a side note, OP best of luck mate, stay safe and enjoy yourself
I'm slightly jealous that you're planning on doing this. I'm considering doing something like this on my gap year but I don't think I have enough money. If I can find some people who want to join me, I may consider doing it.

lol well to me I find that giving up everything and leaving my friends and family behind for a few years to travel to different countries alone is a big thing... I said the biggest risk of MY life.. not the biggest risk ever :P
Wiki says the state of Washington banned it but that's the only one I can find record of it being banned. Sounds like a drink I should only try once
Yeah, I'm not surprised that it's banned. It's both a depressant and a stimulant. O_o it's like chasing sleeping pills with vodka. Haha. But it looked pretty good during Epic Meal Time. <3

Two of my friends are currently doing this.....see here for their blog. I met them while they were cycling around New Zealand, after their 'honeymoon' cycling across Canada I went to Fiji with them, and they've cycled around there too as well as a bit of South East Asia.
