Firm and Insurance offers...

Here's a question. Why is it that so many people keep saying "If I don't get the grades for my firm offer I will have to go into clearing." Am I missing something here? If you don't get into your firm Uni you can get into your Insured one right? If so, why is that so many people reject their Insurance offers and go into clearing? Isn't that worse?

It really depends.. some people for one odd reason or the other have an Insuranec offer which require the same grades as their Firm offer. Others may just not like their Insurance university and simply had to choose it for lack of a better choice. But generally most people who fail to get into their Firm will go to their Insurance.
