How will Student Loans effect my ESA?
My partner is a first year at university and currently receives the basic student loan. He can't apply for the student grant because he is not dependent on his parents but by the student loan companies standard he is. Next year however he will be entitled to the student grant. I am currently in the support group for esa and I receive housing benefit. While my partner was taken off my claim, currently it isn't effecting my benefits.
My question is how will my benefits be effected if my partner starts to get the student grant?
