Aberystwyth - guaranteed.

A good university too, just going through a bit of a rough patch.
If you don't mind, how have you reached 260? Some universities not accept A-Levels such as, General Studies. If the 260 is just from normal A-Levels and AS you have some reasonable prospects for university. I highly recommend using the Telegraph for clearing help.

D*D* from a BTEC 12 unit diploma should actually be worth 280 UCAS points, not 260.

But a lot of universities have courses from 240 points onwards, so you do have a good chance!
I would look between University's ranked, 35ish to 50 on this table. http://www.thecompleteuniversityguide.co.uk/league-tables/rankings?s=Business+%26+Management+Studies . One I just looked at for you, was Nottingham Trent. http://www.ntu.ac.uk/apps/pss/course_finder/104621-1/39/ba_%28hons%29_business_management_and_entrepreneurship.aspx?yoe=7&st=2&s=1&sv=B&sl=1%7C4%7C2#howtoapply iversity,
They specifically ask for 280 UCAS points from A levels however they state during clearing this may vary. It is not worth going to a really bad university, so you need to aim for a university round this level. Given that you got the highest mark possible in your diploma, which is directly relevant to your university course, and the fact your only 20 points off. It is worth ringing up and selling yourself. Best of luck.
Some of our courses here at Glyndwr University in Wrexham north Wales accept 240 points.

You can find details about all our undergraduate courses here: http://www.glyndwr.ac.uk/en/Undergraduatecourses/

I recommend using WhatUni. I've spent countless hours on there trying to decide what course/uni to go to.

For International Management: Some of these include international business/tourism/hospitality/travel and tourism (possibly can't remember now) and relations management. I wasn't 100% sure if these are related back to the course you'd like to study, sorry.

I have 610 UCAS points and still never got into my first choice. :s-smilie: Just be careful when dealing with UCAS points because some universities can be funny with them...

Did you have a lot of AS levels combined with A levels or something? Never heard of anyone having that many points!

I'm from Scotland so I did Scottish qualifications (highers and advanced highers). I just did quite well in the exams that I did sit.

That's probably why I've never seen that before, never quite understood how highers converted into points.

Well done though!

We get roughly the same amount of points for the same level of qualification but we tend to do more subjects and, hence, usually have a slightly higher amount of UCAS points. I think that's how it works anyway but it's all terribly confusing.

Thank you! It still wasn't enough to get into my first choice but I'm happy with where I'm going anyway.
