hi im am about to start my second year as a student nurse in September, I have just reapplied for my bursary and my maintenance loan/grant but from looking at my application this year im only getting half of what I got last year and a grant wasn't even mentioned? im so confused can anyone help clear this up or point me in the right direction to sort this. thanks

Hi Mikeybe17.

NHS funded courses will normally attract a reduced rate of maintenance loan from us only. For some NHS courses you will still be able to receive full funding from us for the first year and the reduced loan the next few.
