Sandwich Placement

I am currently on a sandwich placement, and I am scheduled to return back to university in the academic year of 18/19 to complete my four-year degree. This year, despite being on a paid placement, I have received the same amount as I would if I were studying. Will this impact how much I receive in my final year next year?

Hi Yuuuuus,

The amount that you would receive for a placement year would depend on where you are completing your placement . If you are on a paid placement you would usually receive reduced rate Maintenance Loan .
I would suggest that you contact student finance is order for us to check your entitlement is correct.
