Year 12s: what will be the first way you research your future options? >>

Work Experience for Year 12

I am currently in year 12 studying ict, business and hospitality and looking for work experience. Where I live work experience has been scrapped on behalf of the school so I have to look for it myself.
I want to go into the travel industry (resort rep/activity rep/travel agent) and contacted a handful of travel agents but heard nothing back.
Could anyone help me out with advice on how to get experiences and any ideas for going into the travel industry?

If u wanna go into travel, dont ONLY look for travel, spread and widen ur work experience range
