during my 4 year course the social life for me varied considerably so id say only cos it sucks rn doesnt mean it will suck in the future. id be wary thinking its 3 year holiday etc its not really like what social media and prospectuses say. in fact i had the social life u probably want in first year and even tho i went on nights out went to events etc i still felt pretty lonely and isolated. if u look around uni all the groups of 'friends' its all kinda fake. its friends from a place of insecurity are we hanging out cos we are genuine real friends or are we hanging out cos we dont want to be alone and happen to live together.
