academic years
I've been offered a place on a SCITT program starting in September. My masters course finishes in September (it was only a 12 month course but because of start and end dates it finishes at the beginning of September) will I still be able to get student finance for the SCITT course or will I have to deffer a year?
Obviously I would like to do the course starting in September but will the academic year overlap cause an issue?

We wouldn't be able to assess you for undergraduate funding in the same academic year as your postgraduate course finishes. Was your Postgraduate Loan paid over 1 year or 2? If your course ends and the new course begins in September you wouldn't be eligible for funding.
Please discuss your other options with the university such as starting later in the year or in the next academic year.
