What does 'household income' mean? - student finance

Does household income just mean the income of everyone living in your household or specifically that of your parents/carers?

Because my older sibling lives at home and they work so does their income count as household income?

Hello,

Household income is required from your sponsors (parents/ partner).

Can you confirm how old you are and your parent's marital status?

Thanks, Lynsey.
Hi Lynsey,

I'm 18. My parents are married.
So I'm guessing household income just means parental income rather than income of everyone who lives in the household?

Hello,

Exactly, we will require your parent's income only.

Thanks, Lynsey.
